Toyota Yaris Show Off is an annual event held by Toyota Astra Motor.
It was a modification contest featuring Toyota’s juicy car, Yaris. This time,
Yaris Show Off Bandung was held in the crowded mall of Paris van Java.

Prior to the event, I was asked to do some character graffiti on the famous car’s custom body
by Signal Kustom. The car was already modified and looks cool, so I just had to add few
colors and full Yellow Dino graffiti on its body. Our custom car then win several awards
and becoming the King of Yaris Bandung 2011. Thanks to Signal Kustom,
Connection Auto Community and Toyota Astra for the opportunity.

The Yellow Dino was asked to customize a Toyota Yaris by Signal Kustom, Bandung
famous automotive workshop. The car has been fully modified and I taking care
of the graphic by adding colors and character graffiti on its body. The car
showed at Toyota Yaris Show Off 2011 in the crowded mall of
Paris van Java, Bandung. More pictures after the jump.

Right after Surabaya, I continued my trip to Yogyakarta to visit the biggest Yogyakarta’s
art fair, ARTJOG 2011. It was already dark thanks to train delay from Surabaya. Luckily,
Jogja temperature is on its lowest so it makes me easier to adapt. Many thanks to
my friend Fredy who spend his time accompanying me during my visit to Jogja.

First day in Jogja I meet up with Jogja’s writer, Tuyuloveme & Lovehatelove and
a female artist from Japan, Emilla. We did a quick painting session in Wijilan. The spot has
been claimed by Lovehatelove to become an alternative art space for Jogja street artist

One of the reason I dropping by at Yogyakarta is the food, I’ve been curious about
the famous Sate Klathak, the one that my friend, Fredy always talk about when
we eat satay in Bandung. Its apparently satay made by inserting the meat
to bicycle bones, so the meat is cooked from the inside as well
as the outside. My curiosity is payed off! Yeah!

On the second day, I do another painting session with Lovehatelove, Tuyuloveme, Oaker
and old friend from Jakarta, Broke at Gejayan area. More pictures you can check my previous post.
Thanks to fredy for accompanying me through the day. We closed the day with my favorite
grilled tempe at Kedai Kebun. To be honest, I will never get bored eating that dish
everyday. It’s really great! You must try it when you come to Yogyakarta.

After finally tasted grilled tempe & sate Klathak, the famous Sapi Bali ribs was next on my list.
So on day third, we visited Indieguerillas studio and have lunch together at Sapi Bali. It was great
meals indeed. After lunch we finally step our foot at ARTJOG 2011 (more pictures here),
followed by another painting session at Malioboro with Lovehatelove, Tuyuloveme,
Muck, Menaw, and Oyster. You can check more pictures from

Yes, my trip to Jogja is all about food and painting, in the end I really enjoyed it!
Thank you soo much to Fredy, Indieguerillas, Lovehatelove, Tuyuloveme, all friends in
Gembel Urban, IVAA and Kedai Kebun for the kindness. Matur Suwun!

Wow.. I’ve been quite held back lately, sorry for the lag of updates.
Here are some pictures from my Surabaya trip last July. I was invited to be one of the speaker in
an event held by Petra University. It was my first time to Surabaya, and I gotta admit Surabaya
is pretty hot just like most people said. But the food is really really good. Many thanks to
Maria from Petra University and Alex from ORE for accompanying me during
my visit to Surabaya. More pics after the jump.

The event called “The Creative People : an Inspiring Weekend” taking place at Grand City Mall,
Surabaya. I was among talented people such as Dendy (unkl 347), Sanchia
(The Yin Yang Dogs) and Manuel Heischel (CikCuk). It was a fun night indeed.

The next day I meetup with Surabaya graffiti crew, MNC and did a quick session
at Taman Apsari. Shout to Yzrl, Adr1, Pino, Sleepy, AMG, Menaw, DSK and
all friends in MNC & G.U for providing the great spot. Suwun guys!!
