Video: Banzai Rock On

Sugarahh - Banzai Rock On f/Phrovsta

A good friend Oq Rru has made another exquisite video. This time for Sugarahh's song entitled "Banzai Rock On". You could see that this clip is about a journey as a pair of feet that walks and meets several things in life to make life itself go on.

Lyrics by A. Sugara, S. Kusuma. Produced by Oq and Spydee for Stereoflow Productions. Recorded and Mixed at Cronik Studios, Bandung.INV Records 2009

The Line Between

The Line Between | Oil on Canvas (80cm x 120cm and 80cm x 120cm) | 2009

As much as I agree on the gender issues of how men and women should be treated the same but you cannot deny, there will always be difference and a line between them.

Family Matters: He Stands, She Stands

Photobucket
He Stands and She Stands are artworks for Family Matters exhibition. They are my perspective of what street artists and graffiti writers have been doing to get their names well recognized. And it's simply by standing up, standing out and standing for something!

An artwork for Family Matters exhibition that was held a couple of weeks ago. It is a painting of my graffiti character called Edor which has been around since 2007. Edor has been a mascot to my name, therefor I just had to put Edor in this exhibition.

Introducing: SUBCOLLECTIVE

Photobucket
Based in Indonesia, SUBCOLLECTIVE is an alternative media which is dedicated as a place for talented local artists to feature and to promote their artworks unlimitedly and widely to the art-collectors and art-enthusiasts.
Being rooted from street-art or public-room-art, SUBCOLLECTIVE tries to be an answer for a never-ending debate that does exist in an art-world, whether street/urban-arts that are transformed from walls-aside-the-streets can be classified into a real-art and be displayed in art-galleries. Or else, they have to remain to be only sketch-on-walls.
There is a debate that narrows the community’s movement-room, that makes their arts barely to be recognized by art-enthusiasts and collectors. Thus, SUBCOLLECTIVE comes in presence to bridge these-hidden-rare-talents and presents them to extensive public.

Busy Sunday Part 2 : Wall Lords Indonesia

After Semarak .BDG I flew to the next event, the biggest graffiti jam in asia, Wall Lords!
Maranatha University huge parking space sure is not enough to have all the writers
from all over Indonesia, it’s like a big family reunion there, plus one of the
famous MAC Crew from France, Kongo was also joined the jam. Words!

Big thanks to Dripsndrops, RJ London, Maranatha University, Wadezig, Invasian, and all
the boys that make the Wall Lords Indonesia possible. More picture at Wall Lords Flickr and Tutu’s Flickr.

Busy Sunday Part 1 : Semarak .BDG

The Yellow Dino was invited to do live graffiti at two different events at the same day, early in the
morning I join up with Stereoflow and Noah at Semarak .BDG, a public event held to try to fix the city’s
public space condition back to its habitat as human habitat. The event itself take place alongside
Jl. Cikapundung Timur as a pre-event to celebrate my beloved city Bandung 200th anniversary.

It was a very sunny day and lots of children came there to play. Just very happy when you see kids
having a good time. We had a pleasant time painting for the event. Thanks to BCCF
for the opportunity and also thanks to KumKum for hanging around.
